I am an associate professor at the Department of Computer Science of the University of Salerno.
My research focuses on empirical software engineering, specifically on software testing of functional and non-functional requirements, including security and sustainability, where I apply artificial intelligence, quantum computing, and data mining.
I serve as associate editor for ACM Transactions on Software Engineering and Methodology, Elsevier Journal of Systems and Software, and IEEE Software and I am a program committee member of international conferences and a referee for international journals in software engineering and artificial intelligence. For these services, I received several awards.
I am a member at large of the IEEE Computer Society Conference Activities Committee and a member of the promotion commission of the Embedded Systems and Smart Manufacturing Mab (LN ESSM) of the Consorzio Interuniversitario Nazionale per l'Informatica (CINI).
